Environment Management System

In 1991, we announced our new policy ECO YHES and became
the first corporation in Korea to implement a policy on comprehensive safety,
health and the environment.
And to fulfill our social responsibilities and at the same time,
achieve sustainability, Hanwha Solutions Insight Division has adopted
a management practice that protects the environment and human health.

Safety and health management policy

We will do our best to make sure that all
employees and workers work in a safe and pleasant environment by
establishing the safety and health management system that
complies with laws and standards.

  1. 1 CEO shall make ‘protection of life of employees and workers by
    preventing industrial accidents’     and ‘creation of safe working
    environment’     the top priority in corporate management activities.
  2. 2CEO shall make the safety and health management system in
    the workplace to provide sufficient human and
    material resources to eliminate and control risk factors.
  3. 3Safety and health management goals shall be set and
    detailed implementation plan shall be established and
    implemented.
  4. 4Internal regulations shall be enacted and implemented according to
    laws and regulations related to safety and health management.
  5. 5Risk factors shall be identified through the engagement of employees
    and the identified risk factors shall be improved and shared via training.
  6. 6Making sure that all employees recognize risk factors related to
    their job and training shall be provided on the method of removal,
    replacement and controlling of risk factors.
  7. 7Making sure that all suppliers and contractors comply with our safety and health
    management policy and safety and health requirements.
  8. 8All employees shall comply with responsibilities and obligations for
    safety and health activities     in good faith.

Health and Environment Management

We recognize safety and health of all employees and workers
throughout the corporate activities as top priority and make a continuous
effort to improve safety, health and environment through following activities.

  • Making of safety and health computer system with the introduction of ‘HIU’
  • Conduct of risk assessment and focused management of risk
  • Listening to employees’ opinion to remove hazardous and risk factors in advance
  • Commitment to safety and health by establishing safety and health management policy and objectives
  • Making of emergency response system and conduct of emergency drill
  • Making of safety and health management system to conduct safety and health activities systematically
